The CD came today! I'm all smiles.
I told my friend about the happy occasion. "Why Don't We Celebrate,"
she insisted, "I'll Be With You today." And as I waited for her
arrival, here I was. Walking Against The Sun, looking at the prize I
held within my hands and thinking, “It’s As If You Never Were.” But it
was. And it is.
I stopped at the docks, staring out at the water and towards the great
metropolis. The sunset marked the City Walls with a calming beauty and
the 'Cold River' whispered a quaint song. It was my own 'Garden of
Eden', a 'Picture of Heaven' that no 'War of Words' could shake me from
this peace.
It must be the music that plays. 'Now Everywhere I Go', the sweet
melodies of their voices and guitars will echo through my ears. This
lyrical love – it has appeared without a trace. Perhaps it was waiting
for me all this time in the deep blue sea. And hey, it can very well be
on the moon. After all, there is 'No Bar Code for Love.'
Back in my home now and still listening. I just wanted to say, “Here’s
To You,” my friends. I’d have 'Been' a Fool had I not ever had the
pleasure of hearing your beautiful music.
